Big moments in life, like weddings and funerals, are the markers of who we are and the connections we share with others. Weddings are a celebration of love, a promise made between two people to walk through life together, hand in hand, no matter what comes their way. They are filled with joy, laughter, and the beauty of two hearts becoming one.
A wedding is one of life's memorable rituals and being a Marriage Celebrant, it is both a privilege and an honour. It is a unique position to be in, to be able to share part of a couple’s wedding journey. It is my experience as a celebrant of 10 years, that getting to know a couple can be humbling and funny at times but, above all, it is interesting and exciting, enjoyable and deeply rewarding.
I am forever mindful in recognising in a couple the deep intent, love, happiness and joy as they come to be married - the formalisation of their love and commitment. The ceremony should be a true reflection of this.
I can create the narrative of a couple’s unique ceremony, ensuring it reflects their love and commitment to each other, is personalised, heartfelt and wonderfully memorable, what marriage means to them both and a reflection of their personalities.
